And Akon featuring David Guetta and Kesha are coming back to the list.
Alicia Keys goes up 6 spots and Wayna comes down one to be the first in the list. The new top belongs to The Script and their great song Breakeven.
For next week the prospects are Bubble and Franz Ferdinard, or maybe Kesha...

ARTIST OF THE WEEK:

Rob Thomas
He became famous when singing for Santana in 1999, “Smooth”...and since then has made a couple of very good records...
His last album has already produced a couple of great songs...there’s something about this artist which makes him very easy to listen to...voice, melody, soft rock...

RECOMMENDED VIDEOS:
This week I wanted to see some of the classics…videos from legends…

3 - Another brick in the wall (Pink Floyd) - 1979

2 - Bohemian Raphsody (Queen) – 1975

TOP OLDIE RECOMMENDED VIDEO:
Piece of my heart (Janice Joplin) – 1968

This is one of my favorite singers and one of my favorite videos...
In this performance Janis shows why she is considered an icon for a generation...great isn’t enough....
This song has 5 different versions but Janis’s is by far....the best...
In 1968 Janis performed this song as the lead singer of “Big brother and the holding company” one of the bands she was in before she went solo...

OUTSTANDING LIVE PERFORMACE:

Stairway to heaven (Led Zepellin) – Madison Square Garden (1973)
Let’s continue with the classic mood...
In 1973 the three shows scheduled concerts were filmed for a movie about Led Zepellin...and this song was one of the most claimed everytime the band played...obviously the 3 shows were totally sold out...
This song was one of the songs which were supposed to have a hidden message which praised the devil...I don’t know about that but this song is an anthem...definitely...

OLDIE ALBUM RECOMMENDED:

The miseducation of Lauryn Hill (Lauryn Hill) - 1995
19 million copies sold so far…This album appeared in the middle of the 90’s and changed the concepts of music…The Ex - Fugees started her solo career with this incredible album…
She was the first female artist to receive 5 grammys in one night…check the videos…all of them really cool…

BEFORE & AFTER

T L C
This band made 4 albums and are supposed to make a fourth one this year. When the fourth album was in process one of the members of the group died tragically…Lisa Lopez couldn’t finish recording the album but the other members, T-Boz and Chilli, decided to end it anyway…
At the beginning of their careers they were some kind of rapper guys…then in their second album sofistication appeared in some way…to finally get to what we most remember from them in their third album…with an icon video “No scrubs”.

Ain’t to proud to beg - 1991
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlOsU8_Rzsk
Waterfalls – 1995
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-n-jZJhpT4&feature=related
No scrubs – 1999
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k18WlaaTaLU&feature=related

MEMORABLE COLLABORATIONS
Scream (Michael Jackson & Janet Jackson) - (1995)
This is the most expensive video ever made…at least by now…some say that there’s another video which was more expensive which belongs to “30 seconds to Mars” but this is not properly confirmed…
What is for sure is that one more time…it had to be the Jacksons…
This is the only song they recorded together…
