MEMORABLE SOUNDTRACK

“The bodyguard” - Whitney Houston (1992)
Whitney Houston’s voice has been the inspiration for most of the artists we have now...and in this album she showed what she can do...
Incredible vocals in all the songs and eventhough there are other singers, the album sold 42 million copies up to date for Whitney Houston...
It’s the biggest selling soundtrack of all times...take a look and see why...

BEFORE & AFTER

Toni Braxton
This singer appeared with a very naive image and a tender soul voice which captured us since the beginning with songs like “Breathe again” and “Another sad love song”...after a few years...the girl had grown...and entered to the group of sexy singers...just like that...
“Unbreak my heart” was the higher note in her career and a big record in the world...in this videos she showed more than usual...but the change came with her album “The Heat”...there...she definitely showed an evolution and a trial to change her smooth image for a more agressive one...let’s take a look...

Another sad love song (1993)

Piece of my heart (Janice Joplin) – 1968

This is one of my favorite singers and one of my favorite videos...
In this performance Janis shows why she is considered an icon for a generation...great isn’t enough....

Stairway to heaven (Led Zepellin) – Madison Square Garden (1973)
Let’s continue with the classic mood...
In 1973 the three shows scheduled concerts were filmed for a movie about Led Zepellin...and this song was one of the most claimed everytime the band played...obviously the 3 shows were totally sold out...
This song was one of the songs which were supposed to have a hidden message which praised the devil...I don’t know about that but this song is an anthem...definitely...

BEFORE & AFTER

T L C
This band made 4 albums and are supposed to make a fourth one this year. When the fourth album was in process one of the members of the group died tragically…Lisa Lopez couldn’t finish recording the album but the other members, T-Boz and Chilli, decided to end it anyway…
At the beginning of their careers they were some kind of rapper guys…then in their second album sofistication appeared in some way…to finally get to what we most remember from them in their third album…with an icon video “No scrubs”.

Ain’t to proud to beg - 1991
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlOsU8_Rzsk
Waterfalls – 1995
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-n-jZJhpT4&feature=related
No scrubs – 1999
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k18WlaaTaLU&feature=related

MEMORABLE COLLABORATIONS
Scream (Michael Jackson & Janet Jackson) - (1995)
This is the most expensive video ever made…at least by now…some say that there’s another video which was more expensive which belongs to “30 seconds to Mars” but this is not properly confirmed…
What is for sure is that one more time…it had to be the Jacksons…
This is the only song they recorded together…

OLDIE DANCE RECOMMENDED

MEMORABLE SOUNDTRACK
KILL BILL - VOL I (2003)
This is my favorite movie of the last decade.....
and the soundtrack is one of the reasons for this...
Quentin Tarantino is one of the most creative and innovative directors and really gets involved in the selection of the songs...in fact he said that this sometimes happens first and then he thinks about the movies...however he does it...this soundtrack is amazing
